about the product

An additive masterbatch is a solid additive used for imparting other properties to plastics. It is also identified as a concentrated granule form for modifying thermoplastics and consists of one or more additives and a polymer-specific carrier resin.

An additive masterbatch has an antistatic function, eliminating electric charges for blow molded and extruded applications. It also has antifog properties for food packaging and horticultural films and anti-blocking properties for polyolefin films and polyester sheets.

Additive masterbatches also act as lubricants to improve plastic flow characteristics during processing, reduce frictional resistance of end-product surfaces, act as plasticizers and impact enhancers.

They are also widely used in other industries. They serve as anti-slip agents for the production of film for heavy-duty bags and related applications.

Lastly, they are also used as antioxidants to combat thermo-oxidative decompositions. This function can be found in products like LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, and PP for outdoor applications.
